reply before tests :

Hello,
your 'solution' with refreshing the webpage isn't work for me, because I grabb with £$π from other people ;-)
But you give me good idea, to trying.
with the following code Kodi is 'refreshing'. On clicking the refresh-item, that closing £$π or go 2x back and run £$π. But on this 'solution' is a bug. People have to dubble click. On first clicking isn't work, but on 2x clicking it is working and I geht a error.

Code:

   04:57:21.254 T:15956 ERROR: Control 50 in window 10025 has been asked to focus, but it can't

>>>
PLEASE CHECK INSIDE OF THE CODE FOR SOME MODIFICATIONS AND COMMENTS
<<<

Code:

[b]refresh[/b]

<thumbnail></thumbnail>

<NOTPlayable></NOTPlayable>
<externallink></externallink>

<regex>

<expres>#$pyFunction
import xbmcaddon
import xbmcgui
import xbmc

def GetLSProData(page_data,Cookie_Jar,m):
    title = "Aktuallisierung der Liste"
    line1 = "Die Liste wird aktuallisiert."
    line2 = "Bitte klicken sie auf 'ja', um fortzufahren oder auf 'nein', um abzubrechen."
    line3 = "..."

    ok = xbmcgui.Dialog().yesno(title, line1, line2, line3)
    if ok:
      xbmc.executebuiltin("RunAddon(plugin.video.live.streamspro)") #working  ## So ? what is the problem ? now ?

      #xbmc.executebuiltin("Action(Close)")
      #xbmc.executebuiltin("Action(Back,%s)" % xbmcgui.getCurrentWindowId())   ##???
      #xbmc.executebuiltin("Action(ParentDir, %s)" % xbmcgui.getCurrentWindowId())    ##???
      #xbmc.executebuiltin("ActivateWindow(10025)") #try for bug
      #xbmc.executebuiltin("ActivateWindow(video, plugin://plugin.video.live.streamspro") #not work ## so, forget this

      #return 'https://...xml' ## in that case[return] it will return 'https://...xml' inside of the <externallink>$doregex[openDialog]</externallink> and £$π will open the externallink
    else:
      #return '

! Aktion wurde abgebrochen !

'  ## in that case[return]  it will return '

! Aktion wurde abgebrochen !

' inside of the <externallink>$doregex[openDialog]</externallink> and £$π will TRY open the externallink . but as there is another item inside ... it will react strangely ......
      #return ''
      pass
      xbmc.executebuiltin("XBMC.Notification( BLA BLA BLAH ,! Aktion wurde abgebrochen !  , 5000)")
</expres>
<page></page>
</regex>

Do you have ideas, what the problem is?

You have to understand that in case of RETURN " ...", the work is "over" as the PYTHON returns something inside of the < externallink>.
and in case of xbmc.executebuiltin(" ...", the work is not over : I mean that the python will do the action runaddon or any action, but then the python does NOT return anything.
so the externallink < externallink>$doregex[openDialog]< /externallink> stays empty ... that is why £$π inform us about an error.

  IF you do NOT use return , then doregex should be in < link> and not < externallink> ...

another thing is that it is not the same if you use

<externallink>$doregex[openDialog]</externallink>
or

<externallink></externallink>

but both are useful ...

(it depends if you want to use return "https://a_list" ... or a direct Python order as executebuiltin)

if an item/link is not built to be played (but to do something else as open an addon , etc...)
then you should use

<NOTPlayable></NOTPlayable>

PLEASE SEND ME YOUR LAST TESTS AND VERSIONS OF THIS STUFF TY !

Hello,
excuse me for writing in bad english and thank you very much for your help. I have tested your code in a last posting. That isn't work. No errors in log and nothing is doing after pressing yes. The same I have tested before. Only my last code is working with the bug.

I think, the problem is the £$π is running douring enter the refresh-item. that have to close at first and reopen. But my solution works only on the second time.
